LETTER FROM THE AUDITORS GENERAL

FOREWORD

This charter is aimed at guiding the Internal Audit Committee of the Office of the Auditor-General. It should be emphasised that good governance, transparency, accountability for and efficient management of public resources contribute to economic development and provide assurance to tax payers as well as other sources of finance, that resources are being utilised properly and effectively. Financial and performance auditing play a key role in achieving these objectives.

VOLLEYBALL SOCIAL EVENT

The office has received an invitation to partake in the Windhoek draught/DTS volleyball game on 06/02/2010. We are looking at having a representation of 2 teams and a few substitutes. All in all, we are looking for staff participants of about 16 to 20 plus for that game.  I wish to urge all interest to submit their name to Ms.Nakaambo or Mr. Kamutushi as soon as possible. 

The game will take place at DTS club premises, Sean McBride Str, Olympia. Further information will be send to you on a later stage.
