Journalists attend training workshop from Office of the Auditors General.
The Office of the Auditor-General will host the 14th General Assembly of African Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions(AFROSAI) on the 23 - 27 October 2017. During the 5 day event, the Namibian Auditor-General Etuna Kandjeke who is the Vice President of AFROSAI since 2014, will take over the organization's presidency for the next three years. The event will be attended by over 200 delegates including heads of auditing institutions in Africa. On the local front, the Prime Minister of Namibia Saara Kuugongelwa- Amadhila will do the official opening. This is the first time that the Assembly is taking place in Namibia.
